About Me
Hi, I am Mingxuan Li (李明暄). I am now a Master's student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University (THU), where I also obtained my bachelor's degree. I will begin my Ph.D. studies at College of AI, Tsinghua University, under the supervision of Prof. Tao Du from the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences (IIIS).
Currently, I am a research intern at the ByteDance Seed Team, working on embodied intelligence algorithms. Previously, I was a visiting student at MIT CSAIL under the supervision of Prof. Edward H. Adelson. I welcome collaborations and discussions with researchers from different institutions and fields.
I am committed to well-rounded development in both research and leadership. I served as Vice President and Academic Affairs Representative of the Graduate Association in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tsinghua University. I was selected for the “Spark” (星火) Innovative Talent Cultivation Program for Students of Tsinghua University (top 1% for outstanding research performance), led the ClearTactile (清触未来) tech startup team as student head, and served as Vice President of the Hunan Cultural Student Association of Tsinghua.

Research Interests
My research lies in Embodied Intelligence and Robotics, with a particular focus on Tactile Perception & Grasping, Vision-Based Tactile Sensors, and Contact Modeling. I am currently focusing on improving robot grasping and manipulation through contact modelling and tactile sensing.
